UOL was the official sponsor for Ride from the Heart – 1,000 miles for the Kids, a charity cycling expedition from Phuket to Singapore. The 2-week expedition by 12 undergraduates ended at Velocity@Novena Square and helped raise funds for the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

UOL pledged $1 for each mile cycled, totalling $12,000 under the Adopt-A-Rider scheme. Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund helps to alleviate the financial burden faced by needy families in providing for their children’s education
Velocity@Novena Square was proud to be the main sponsor of the 40th Singapore International Open 2007 – Step Ladder Finals, For the first time, the Step Ladder Final was held in a shopping mall creating an integrated shopping experience with a twist of sporting excitement.

We will continue to play our part to the progress made in sports participation in Singapore and proactively work with the sports faculties to bring sports closer to the community.
UOL Group represented by Velocity@Novena Square signed up for The Business Times – Philips World Cup Fund, a charity challenge in aid of Food from the Heart. As Singapore's first sports mall, the participation in this corporate charity was a novel way to associate with the World Cup and at the same time raise funds for the less fortunate. Assigned to the Ivory Coast team, $1,000 was donated to Food from the Heart for every match the team played.
