UOL emerged as Joint Winner of the Singapore Corporate Sustainability Award (Big Cap Category) at the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) (SIAS) Investors’ Choice Awards 2025. This marks the Group’s first win in the category, highlighting its steadfast commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate practices.
The awards are based on a scorecard and methodology developed by SIAS, together with NUS School of Business and Centre for Governance and Sustainability, to recognise listed companies that have good environmental, social and governance (ESG) sustainability disclosures and reporting.
The accolade recognises UOL’s continued progress in advancing climate accountability, transparency and sustainability integration across its operations. UOL was also recognised in previous editions, receiving the Most Transparent Company Award and Shareholder Communications Excellence Award in 2022.
UOL Chief Legal and Sustainability Officer Yeong Sien Seu accepted the award from former President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, at a ceremony held on 11 November 2025.
Reflecting on the recognition, UOL Group Chief Executive Liam Wee Sin said: “We view this award as a strong validation of our decade-long sustainability journey. This recognition affirms that we are on the right path – embedding sustainability into the way we design, build and operate. It reinforces our belief that doing right by people and the planet ultimately strengthens long-term business value.
“At UOL, we believe sustainability begins with people – their ideas, dedication and shared purpose. Sustainability is not a fixed destination, but a continuous journey that evolves with every project or initiative we undertake and every improvement we make. Our experience shows that when people and the planet thrive together, businesses flourish naturally. We hope our journey inspires others to place people at the centre of their sustainability efforts, to embrace decarbonisation and to build green, and with empathy for future generations.”

Thumbs up to Team UOL for their hard work and commitment to advancing sustainability!
