UOL has been awarded the Charity Platinum Award for the second year in a row at the Community Chest Awards 2024. This accolade demonstrates the Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting Singapore’s social service sector through impactful contributions to Community Chest.

The award ceremony, held on 7 October at Andaz Singapore, was graced by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and hosted by Minister for Social and Family Development, Second Minister for Health & Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, Masagos Zulkifli.

Ms Sarah Ng, UOL General Manager (Corporate Communications, Investor Relations & Sustainability), accepted the award on behalf of the Group. She said: “At UOL, we are dedicated to building not only a successful business but also a stronger, more inclusive community. This award affirms our commitment to doing what is right. We will continue to work with our community partners to drive impact for the long term.”

Since 2011, the Group has supported community initiatives as an integral part of our business, focusing on children, youth, education, sports and the arts. This year and in 2023, the organisation continued to build on its support for initiatives in inclusive arts, sports and programmes for disadvantaged children.
